Day One....

So I was thinking about doing this for a while now. Kind of like an online journal where everybody could read my most private of privates. Get to know the horrid truth about my unhealthy fantasies over Joe Piscapo.

But really, its more of an exercise to see if I'll keep doing it, and ultimately if it will be meaningful for me or anyone else who stumbles upon it. When I first stumbled upon "blogs" I thought they were ridiculous. I had some friends travel overseas for quite a while (my niece is currently in Japan updating a blog) and realized they were a good way to let people know what was going on in their lives. In that respect the act interested me - but I'm in no position to go globe trotting anytime soon.

I have a lot of time to think at my job. I deliver water for a company here in Denver, and during my days of slinging 5 gallon carboys, i often find myself plodding through what I at least believe to be some fairly amusing thoughts. I really look forward to sharing these thoughts, but the problem is that as soon as I come home from work, I usually get distracted and decide to do something else.

Back to what I was talking about, even if I'm not globe-trotting, I still would at least like to have some sort of chronicle about my day-to-day existence. I'm a big believer in the power of individual people - maybe not so much in the sense as everyone has the ability to change the world in their lifetime - but rather that I believe everyone has a unique perspective on this thing we call life. And through that unique perspective, we all come to a realization that we're all kind of in it together. Its the wonderful thing about consciousness, we all have our own, but its likely tied together on some level, even if that level is nothing more than shared experience.

In order to make this thing worth any kind of a damn, I'm gonna have to remove all sorts of boundaries and limitations I usually place upon myself when expressing how i feel about people, places, and things ( and some of those people, places and things are surely going to react negatively to my honesty ) - but that's the risk you take when you want to chronicle real life.

So enjoy, if you can - and let me know if you like it. I'm sure there are literally billions of these types of things on the web these days - and all of them have their own intrinsic merit, so thanks for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to things in the future. I'll even try to put up some pictures for those of you who can't read.
